Rajil M. Karnani, MD, MME, MSPA, FACP is an academic physician and a healthcare analytics translator. His analytics expertise provides a foundation for healthcare organizations to appreciate and utilize advanced analytics (i.e., predictive modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence), thus providing a stronger platform for planning and actions in population health management, value-based care, and clinical research.

Dr. Karnani is a graduate of the six-year, combined B.S./M.D. program from Northeast Ohio Medical University. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, a fellowship in academic medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, and the VA National Quality Scholars Fellowship at the Iowa City VA Medical Center. Dr. Karnani holds a master’s degree in medical education from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and a master’s degree in predictive analytics from Northwestern University. He is a fellow in the American College of Physicians and a graduate of the Physician Leadership Academy from The Advisory Board Company.
